Biography:
Ashour won his first major international title in 2004, when he became the youngest player ever to win the Men's World Junior Squash Championship at just 16 years old. He also led Egypt to a second-place finish in the team event in 2004, losing to Pakistan in the final. In July 2006, he became the first player in history to win the World Junior Championships twice. He defeated his junior compatriot Egyptian Omar Mosaad. He also led Egypt to 2–1 victory over Pakistan in the final of the team event. By his victories, Egypt captured the first three positions in the individual players event and the team event title which was a feat no team has ever accomplished in the history of the tournament.
Ashour reached his first major final at the Cathay Pacific Swiss Privilege Hong Kong Squash Open in 2006 where he lost to the eventual world number one fellow Egyptian Amr Shabana. En route to the final, he beat World number 10 John White, world number 3 Thierry Lincou and World No.2 David Palmer.
The season ending 2009 Saudi International Open saw Ashour beat Nick Matthew in a final where the winner would become the next world No. 1. Ashour won the 110 minute battle (his longest ever on the PSA tour) in a grueling 5 game match.[1]
Ashour's older brother, Hisham Mohd Ashour, also plays on the PSA tour and has a career high ranking of No. 13 in the world; achieved in April 2011.

Biography:
Matthew, who attended High Storrs School,[2] first came to the squash world's attention as an outstanding junior player. He was the 1999 British Junior Open under-19 champion, a semi-finalist at the 1998 World Junior Championships, and a member of the England team which won the 1998 world junior team title. He made his first appearance on the professional tour in 1998.
In 2006, Matthew became the first home-grown English player to win the British Open men's title since 1939. In the final, against Thierry Lincou of France, he came back from 0–4 down in the fifth game to win 11–8, 5–11, 11–4, 9–11, 11–6. In 2007, Matthew won the US Open title, beating James Willstrop in the final 11–7, 11–4, 11–7.
Matthew won the British National Championship title in 2006 and 2009. In 2006, Matthew played Lee Beachill in a tight final, which he won 11–9, 6–11, 11–9, 10–12, 12–10. In 2009, he defeated Adrian Grant in the final 11–4, 11–3, 11–9. Matthew was a member of the England team which won the World Team Squash Championships in 2005 and 2007.
2009 saw Matthew soar up in rankings to world No. 4 in December. His best achievement of the year is by winning the Qatar Classic Open title in November. In the Saudi International Open, Matthew fine run was halted by Ramy Ashour who beats him in the final that decides the next world No. 1 player. Matthew lost in 110 minutes in a gruelling 5 sets match.[3]
In the singles final of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, Matthew defeated compatriot James Willstrop 11–6, 11–7, 11–7 in 66 minutes to win the gold medal.[4]

Carla Khan (Urdu: کارلا خان) born August 18, 1981 in London) is a Pakistani professional squash player. She is the granddaughter of Azam Khan, one of the legends of squash in Pakistan and daughter of Wasil Khan, a junior world champion, who was also her coach. She started playing squash in England at age 12. She has won three titles in her career, which are: El Salvador Open 2002, Ottawa Open 2003 and the Pakistan Open 2005. Her highest ranking was 21st. Her current coach is Jeremy Colton. Carla Khan's first tournament was at the prestigious British Open in 1999. After an unsuccessful first full season in 2000, she made the breakthrough the following year, but it was not until 2002 that Carla won her first title In November 2002, at the El Salvador Open, she reached her first final against Mexican Samantha Teran. Carla went on to beat her 9-1, 2-9, 9-3, 9-1. Her improvements continued in 2003, her most successful season yet, and won at the Ottawa International, where she came from behind to beat Melissa Martin from Australia, 3-9, 4-9, 9-4, 9-7, 9-3. She broke into the top 30. At the Irish Open in 2004, Carla defeated World number 1, Nicol David , and achieved her highest ranking of 21. In 2005, she lost in the final of the Forbes Open to England's Alison Walters. However, she made it to the final of the 1st POF WISPA tournament in Pakistan, and beat Sharon Wee of Malaysia 9-1, 9-3, 9-4. She never dropped a set throughout the whole tournament. Carla ended the year making it to another final, at the Islamic Women's Games, but lost to Malaysian Tricia Chuah, 1-9, 9-6, 1-9, 1-9. In late 2005 she was unwell, and struggled in early 2006 until she collapsed during the 2006 South Asian Games. Carla was not expected to be back until 2008, but she is returned to playing on September 2007. This had seen her rankings slide outside the top 200. In her first final since her injury, she beat Australian Donna Urquhart to clinch the Iran Open. In 2008, she defeated England's Emma Beddoes 9-2, 9-2, 9-0 to take the Austrian Open. Carla Khan retired after being unhappy with the support she received from the Pakistan Squash Federation. However she made a come back in 2009.
